Have you ever wondered where these homeless people actually come from? We also had the same questions, so we hit the streets in order to find out just where these people came from. Who are they and how did they become homeless? You would think we might be in danger, but I’ve discovered in life that what frightens us is the unknown and changing your mind to accommodate a mindset of love and compassion was all it took for us to interact with these unknown people.
Their stories might surprise you. Many had families and were active members of their communities. Several were a product of the financial burdens facing society. We met a lot who had medical problems they couldn’t face. Nearly all had succumbed to drugs or alcohol to help them cope. In the end, we discovered that most of these strangers were not frightening at all. They just need some help.
